Easy Upgrade Renewal
As new features are added to the software and new HART®, WirelessHART® and FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus devices become available, keeping your 375 Field Communicator up-to-date can be obtained through the Easy Upgrade option.
Simply by registering your 375 you will be automatically notified of all updates as they become available. These notifications will help you determine which updates you require. Then by accessing the Easy Upgrade option you can download the latest device descriptions and enhanced device descriptions as well as the latest Version 3 2.5 software. This software adds significant benefits, including:
Configuration of WirelessHART devices.
Support for fieldbus device menus that organize parameters by function rather than block. This makes it easier to configure for users who are not familiar with the FOUNDATION Fieldbus function blocks structure.
Faster startup time
Optimized power management resulting in longer battery life.
Expanded FOUNDATION fieldbus diagnostics.

1 GB Memory Upgrade
The unprecedented support for over 1200 HART®, WirelessHART® and FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus devices means that the storage space on the originally supplied 128 MB system card has been exceeded. For older units with 128 MB system cards, we recommend that you increase the capacity of your 375 to 1 GB. This will ensure you retain speed and access to the vast number of devices that can be attained by upgrading to the 1 GB memory card. New Lithium-Ion Power Module
You can now achieve twice the battery life of your existing 375 battery pack by upgrading to the new Li-Ion Power Module which will provide over 20 hours of continuous use before it is necessary to recharge it (10 hours when full back light is used). In standby mode, the new Li-Ion Power Module will last up to 80 hours before a recharge is necessary. Configuration Expansion Module Upgrade
Up to 25 device configurations may be stored in each 375 Field Communicator. You can increase the capacity to store configuration data for the devices you find in your plant. For increased storage capacity, the optional Configuration Expansion Module is available. The Configuration Expansion Module is capable of storing in excess of 500 device configurations and snaps into the side of the 375 Field Communicator.
