Micro Motion - From Pioneer to Leader
The first practical Coriolis mass flowmeters were introduced by Micro Motion, Inc. in 1977 and these set new standards for fluid measurement. They were the first to provide direct, accurate, on-line measurement of mass flow, which is critical for controlling many processes. Micro Motion was acquired by Emerson Electric in 1983. Emerson Process Management has to date, manufactured and sold approximately 500,000 Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeters worldwide, outselling all of its competitors combined.

Rosemount Flow – Innovative Flow Technology from the Start
|
Emerson first launched Rosemount magnetic flowmeters in 1982 and subsequently launched the Rosemount vortex flowmeter in 1994 with both products having a focus on bringing innovative technology to flowmeters. Unique innovations include the launch of the first HART magnetic flowmeter, a gasket-free vortex meter which eliminates potential leak paths and incorporates innovative on-line diagnostics, and most recently, setting a new standard with Rosemount E-series magnetic flowmeter technology. This new product features the best performance specifications available today and patented Magmeter Calibration Verification technology.
