Emerson names Andy Hammond Sales Manager, Asset Optimisation
Emerson Process Management has appointed Andy Hammond to the position of Sales Manager, Asset Optimisation for the UK and Ireland. Based at the Stockport facility, Hammond will be responsible for the diverse range of Asset Optimisation products and services, ranging from portable and online machinery health monitoring equipment, through to the AMS® suite of predictive maintenance software applications.

AMS Suite, an essential element of Emerson’s proven PlantWeb® digital plant architecture, uses predictive intelligence to improve availability and performance of production assets.

Hammond previously held the position of Business Development Manager, Refining, having transferred from Emerson’s tank gauging business, where he was Sales Manager. Hammond has over 20 years experience in the automation market after serving an apprenticeship with Bestobell Mobrey. Hammond has a BTEC HNC in Production Engineering.
