Only Micro Motion® offers new MVD™ technology to redefine sensor electronics with multivariable digital processing, scalable for any flow application. MVD technology helps Micro Motion meters work smarter. Front-end digital processing dramatically reduces signal noise, giving faster response time vs. analog devices. A wide array of options are available for basic to enhanced measurement applications.
Model 1500 and Model 2500 DIN rail mounted transmitters
Designed to easily fit into control room panels, these transmitters feature a simple 4-wire connection to the sensor for power and signal, eliminating the expense of running custom cables or providing a separate power source at the sensor. Their small size saves additional expense in the control room, requiring only 0,8 dm3 of control room space versus 28 dm3 for space typically required for Coriolis transmitters.
Model 2500 measures mass flow, volume flow, density, temperature, drive gain, as well as corrected volume flow, concentration and other enhanced density variables
Model 1500 can output either mass flow or volume flow
Analog and frequency outputs are available as well as HART and Modbus digital communications
Model 1700 and Model 2700 field-mount transmitters
Designed for compact integral mounting, or for easily located on a wall or pipe stand, these transmitters feature a rugged Class I, Division 1 / Zone 1 housing with an optional local operator interface designed to make flow meter access easy. Flow meter commissioning is simple and straight-forward with virtually no special programming requirements. Process issues can be easily identified and resolved with built-in, easy access to diagnostics now including PlantWeb alerts with Foundation Fieldbus.
Model 2700 measures mass flow, volume flow, density, temperature, drive gain, as well as corrected volume flow, concentration and other enhanced density variables
Model 1700 can output either mass flow or volume flow
Analog and frequency outputs are available as well as FOUNDATION™ fieldbus, Profibus PA , HART and Modbus digital communications
Model 2700 transmitters with FOUNDATION fieldbus are certified for interoperability with other fieldbus devices.
PlantWeb is a field-based architecture, and a scaleable way to use open and interoperable devices and systems to build process solutions of the future.
