This high quality, compact and rugged globe-style valve is easy to use and maintain, and when combined with the Fisher FIELDVUE® DVC2000 Digital Valve Controller, provides predictive intelligence via PlantWeb® digital plant architecture. Delivery of the GX Control Valve and actuator system is possible in one week via the Fisher FAST™ delivery programme.
The GX controls a wide range of process liquids, gasses and vapours and utilises many common parts across all sizes, further simplifying maintenance and reducing stocking requirements. Live-loaded PTFE V-ring stem packing is supplied as standard to provide superior sealing and extended service life.
The operations and maintenance savings delivered by use of the GX valve system with the new integrally mounted Fisher FIELDVUE DVC2000 digital valve controller reduces total cost of ownership. The combination provides a final control device that is easy to apply, and simplifies operation and maintenance.
The push-button interface of the DVC2000 and the multi-lingual local display simplify operation by enabling local configuration and set up, while its linkage-less position feedback system simplifies calibration.
Instrument mounting on the design GX is in accordance with Namur standards. standards. Available to meet ANSI standards as well as EN, the GX is available in sizes from DN15 to DN200 (½ - 8 inch) and pressure classes are available in PN10-40 and Class 150-300. Shutoff can be specified to meet class IV, V or VI. Valve body flow passages are optimised for flow stability and high capacity. A full range of materials is available including alloys.
